William John DREW, Mylor Bridge
The new contact, Maria, has presented me with (what she considers to be) good proof that the William John DREW in the 1891 Census, living in Mylor Bridge with wife Julia A and children William Reginald C and Winifred J, is not the William John DREW I thought he was. Julia A is Julia Annie CAPLE, and (according to her) her William John was born 1864 in Constantine. Now here is the weird part - that William John's father was also an Edward George DREW but born in Constantine, son of a Samuel DREW, born in Gweek.
So, it seems that is is faintly possible that I mixed up 'our' William John DREW, son of 'our' Edward George DREW (Jr) and Mary Ann REID with this other William John DREW, son of Edward George DREW and Hannah Maria COLLINS.
Of course, this raises a couple of questions. What happened to 'our' William John DREW after the 1881 Census when he was still living at home?" Why does the other William John DREW, born in Constantine, say on the 1891 Census that he was born in Mylor? OK, so Constantine is in Falmouth District like Mylor/Mylor Bridge. I am yet to be convinced that I am nt right.
