Welcome, Andrew

Cousins Jack and Jenny, Andrew has accepted an invitation to join our little group. Andrew, I have done the necessary to make you a full member, so we are looking forward to seeing how you connect back to the youngest of the Edward George Drew individuals. I am presuming you are descended from Irene Jane, as that is the only child of EG The Third that I have been able to find so far.

From what I have been able to scratch up so far, the children of Edward George Drew, base son of Edward George Drew and Elizabeth Dingey, had 'interesting' lives. As I mentioned earlier, I have obtained the birth certificates of two children of the eldest daughter. My next purchase will be some marriage certificates to confirm some spouses' names.

I have a strong suspicion that one daughter married a Frenchman, and may have returned to France as they do not appear on any subsequent census (that I have been able to find, anyway). The marriage of EG III to "Jane" remains elusive.

They are buried in the Mylor Churchyard just inside the bottom gateway on the right hand side. It's not far from the Mylor harbour (not the top gateway). I wasnt sure if the photo I sent you of their grave had the bit with Martha on it, Since we discovered their grave Marthas little stone has been covered over with grass etc.
